    @ceruleanspark As I understand the Catholic church used to hold Dante's Divine Comedy (Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradise) in high regard as sort of a personal witness reinforcing their dogma, but never canon. I think that since that time they've done changed how they view the afterlife quite a bit so it doesn't hold as much wieght.
