    @comradescootaloo True there were Zealots during that time who said that they were chosen to lead Israel out of oppression. But Jesus claimed to be God- why would he do that, which was blasphemy under the law of Moses, unless he actually was God? There are only three options. either Jesus was crazy, which he certainly doesn't appear to be from the wisdom of his teachings; he was lying, in which he couldn't be called "good" at all, or he was who he claimed to be: the Son of God.
