@chengtai2 I tend to go for 'adventure'-tagged stories ('It's a Dangerous Business, Going Out Your Door' was one of the first fanfics I ever read... and hundreds of others later, I still find it hard to beat). I tend to avoid 'grimdark' stuff... but there are a few excellent exceptions I have been more than willing to make (The End of Ponies and The Night That Never Ended are both excellent).
