    @widget You can turn off the text wrapping in nano by supplying the -w flag (or turning it off in your .nanorc), but then it just scrolls the text off the screen which makes editing long lines really frustrating. Not really an issue when coding but for other things it's a problem. nano also likes to add an extra newline at the bottom of every file that I could never figure out how to get rid of.
