@pony Basically, we need stereotypes because we don't know the whole complexity of peoples behaviour. So we need to assume how to treat them by lacking information, so we assume those people act the same way like people with the same characteristics. Stereotypes and labels all are necessary to keep ourselves working as social animals - the art is just to keep in mind that you may have the wrong idea and to be open for learning...
