    @techdisk42 They're not even in the same category, in my mind. On the one hand, you've got story-driven survival (at the beginning, anyway - usually surviving is no problem at high levels) adventures. On the other, a very silly shooter with literally millions of weapon variants chosen mostly randomly, which can result in some ridiculously fun combinations. Definitely worth trying Borderlands (and/or Borderlands 2), I think.
