  1. @abigpony Haha, I don't think any really does. But you understood it at a level of metaanalysis (holy celestia) above what most people will use cause it's convenient. Knowing this stuff intuitively could be called social intelligence (the higher the more likely to use it, like vampixxy), and unfortunately, it doesn't tend to go hand in hand with meta-analytical intelligence, which is what has taken you to a higher level of thinking. Neither is more 'smart' or 'correct', but meta-analysts tend to find it hard to talk to lower level thinking people, and social analysts tend to see everyone's analytical assumptions. So, to anyone at a lower level, they will see you from one dimension less. We're all just trying to figure it out. A lot of people seem to think they know what they are doing but it wouldn't be a dangerous idea at all to suggest a lot of the world's wars and negotiation break downs come from this sort of stuff...interestingly enough...it's what I hope to do a phD in one day!
