People constantly 'TELL' me you cannot recover from schizophrenia and that I must not have it since I no longer take medication. But those people were not in the hospital the forty times I was in there over a two year period and finally diagnosed with it. The next time they saw me in that hospital I attempted to kill myself by cutting my arm wide open. I got stitched up and since that day, five years ago now, I have never relapsed even without medication.
