It is always true in regards to the being the reverse of the true statement, but when the two are broken apart, the contrapositive isn't always true. Contrapositives of true statements are (for the most part) only true in the context you are using when the statement is a relative (not concrete) one. Such as, Love is amazing. Thus, a lack of Love is not amazing.
