@omni Death Note was alright at best. Loveless looks pretty ridiculous to me (plus I hate catgirls/guys/whatever). Elfen Lied looks alright but maybe a bit too graphic for my tastes. Any other anime I've ever seen is way too similar to too many others and it's not a favourable similarity either. The one thing I can definitely say I liked about FMA: Brotherhood, when compared to similar animes like Soul Eater or whatever, is that I actually grew attached to the characters. For most other animes, I struggle to find a character I actually care about. So I've basically gone on the assumption that anime characters are uninteresting or just not likable. That's my main beef with them, I think. Though, obviously, there are those Shōjo animes which tend to have really ugly art styles and just plain stupid storylines. And don't even get me started on magical girl animes. They're dreadful. And damn that's a long post. Too long, I think.
