    Okay, since most of the inhabitants of Canterlot are unicorn, why are the guards pegasi? Wouldn't Earth Ponies be stronger, and Unicorns more common for born-and-raised-in-Canterlot? But I suppose it may be so that they can keep up with the Princess if she decides to fly.
