@ryanjjjj best human pony fanfic.... was MINE. I thought it'd be neat if Twilight was a human on Earth, 80's bookworm into new wave music and astronomy but keeps to herself and never has time to make friends. She gets sucked into Equestria by Celestia because Nightmare Moon is coming back and Celestia used her magic to bring to her what antiquity says is the only one who can bring back the sun. Twilight is a pony the entire time there and adjusts to being a pony as well as everyone being uberly friendly and pushy on said friendliness. Similar save-the-day stuff happens, but Twilight is reluctant to leave for her Earth again. But she has to go back, but super-feelgood ending happens when she discovers a group of kids her age new to school who are very similar to her pony friends. She cant tell if it's them from the pony world or if it's her time in Equestria that opened up her eyes to how friendly people actually are. So the ending is somewhat ambiguous
