@huggablysoft I used to like dystopian stories but over time I learned almost all dystopian stories are unrealistic because they always inflate an arguably unimportant social aspect of what really makes societies dysfunctional. The closest style of dystopian society I like seeing in storytelling is one with a religious mandate, where everyone believes in the same religion and belief in any other religion or no religion is a capital offense
