@yodelerty the great thing about volunteer work is that, if you go to the right place (i.e. almost any place there's an actual need), then you can screw up or be extremely awkward and they'll still praise you so it's not like you have anything to really worry about. If you don't have the drive to help others though it won't help you at all to force yourself of course.
