    @scoot Well, yes. Unless if someone tells me that they want to actively persue some sort of psychological course, or just flatout ask me to defend them even just a little bit. Because I would feel bad for going all "yes John, no John, 2 buckets full John" like a military marionet or genuinly disintressed while some person whom you know or like is being talked bad about. I am pretty sure you would at least try to defend your outer circle of friends.
