In japan almost every mmo partners with some cnsumable grocery store item and if you buy it there is a code you get so you get some stupid "ramen cup noodle blaster" or "pizza box shield" with over powered stats that lasts for 5 days. The best part is when said items are sold out because the guy who went to the store ahead of you bought 25 cup noodles.
