    @clayinthecarpet I get you on that. The thing is that a lot of times, the most useful information will sometimes come before whatever incident someone may be suspected in or w/e. So I guess the solution there would be to leave it to the sites to keep private record of communications (including deleted stuff) and just provide it on proper government requests (like what currently happens), but then the issue becomes that sites are privately-owned and can't be counted on for that.
