@rarityfan heh, thanks. I'm sure they will be fine in the worst case, really. it's not like a sea flood, so it won;t engulf all of the city. but at the sme time, the flood will have the same current as the river, possibly making it more dangerous. anyone who has ever seen the Missouri river would know never to swim in it if you don't like drowning and/or getting mercury poisoning.
