  1. @yodelerty Dane, I'm going to write another big metaphor to try and explain things. So, in physics, there is a low known as conservation of energy which basically means that the amount of energy in a system or object is never lost. This is important because there are many different types of energy, though for this post I'll merely be focusing on two of them. One is gravitational potential energy, which is when an object is suspended above the ground and has the potential to move towards the earth due to gravity. Another is kinetic energy, which is simply the energy of motion. So imagine you have a ball you're holding above the ground. When you're holding it above the ground it simply has gravitational potential energy, but once you drop it that energy converts into kinetic energy that moves it downwards. So basically you're that ball. Right now, you're upset because you have no kinetic energy, but you have so much gravitational potential energy just waiting to be unleashed.
