@yodelerty Well, generally when I write my reviews I just write my thoughts but my basic pattern is something like this. I'll start with a bit of context on the artist and album in question, maybe a bit about the style too. Sort of a preface to the review itself. The bulk of my review will be talking about different tracks, how they sound, how they fit into a wider context of the record, etc. I'll generally talk about what I feel works and what doesn't, and improvise from there. At the end I'll sort of summarize how I feel, restate the major flaws or weakness, impart some final thoughts, and give a rating. You can check the reviews on my Tumblr to sort of get an idea if you're still curious (or also if you wanna just read them for the hell of it and make me happy).
