    @skellythos I would like to point you toward the Myth of the Gun on EC. The reason why First Person shooters are popular is not because of CoD alone, but because they started in America as well, but also the fact tat when we think of objective based game play, we use a gun for a symbol of the "Every man" it grants power and allows one to enact change through a common tool.
