@somercet What an adorable kitty. I remember my cat Astrid helped me catch a rabbit once, chasing it and cornering it to where I was so I could grab it by the ears.
Also those "most" are probably regarding apartment cats, I can assure you any cat that gets to spend several hours a day in a proper yard will learn how to hunt, even if separated from it's mother when young.
