@ceruleanspark (Then I'll continue...) The lesson was long... and the teacher wasn't very interesting. Cerulean's attention was drawn to the unicorn, mostly. She was pale blue, with a dark blue mane. She seemed to be using her horn to move a pencil slowly back and forth on her desk... and little else. He had never known anypony his age who could do things like that. After a while, she noticed Cerulean staring, turned to him, but then just as quickly turned away in an embarrassed shrug. Cerulean didn't feel confident enough to speak to her, so they sat in silence for the whole lesson. The rest of the day passed the same way... Cerulean would cast his eyes around at the other pupils at the start of the lesson, but then head decisively to the back of the class. In the same lonely seat, at the back, was always the sad Blue unicorn filly. At first break time, Cerulean decided he wanted to speak to her... and he was going to, if it took all day...
