Ohhh, it is happening. Well it might has been happening for a long time now so who knows. There is verified evidence now that the so called 'top' of big multinationals, that being multinationals that do some form of reporting or journalism, have been swayed by their own content to believe that THEY are in the 'correct'. That is in a way 'falling for their own propaganda'

Now think of a big old steam engine that is failing to balance its own load. ( Rusty pressure valve readout or something ). It will eventually EXPLODE in a violent fashion.

I'm excited to see that mayhem.

Less so for the inevitable influx of hipsters who go "Yeah that is why I only get my news from small time actual reporters" ... I swear to all things tasty in the universe that a few months ago, a small group of people tried to convince me that this is the reason why they follow The Onion as reputable news source.
