@thismightbeauser Well that is just horrible. But that seems to me just like 'your depressed transphobic relative' is going to need some help. After all if being in the presence of something someone hates is enough to send that person over the edge and take their own life then, whow boy.
The rest of this family is probably just trying to protect the last nuggets of sanity that this transphobe has left.
