Oh man. ICQ is shutting down. I've had an account since 2003. Still know my login ID. Eventually I stopped using it as ICQ was actively making extremely difficult to use 3rd party clients. I used KDE Kopete (Linux) and Trillian (Windows) for years and years until everything broke. There isn't really any multi-client messager anymore.
