    I put out my EEE PC 1000H out of the mothballs for testing the monitor. I wanted to update it but I faced a myriad of package conflicts and other annoyances. It has nothing important on it, so I have to resort to reinstall the whole system anew. If it's the Windows way why wouldn't it work for Linux?
