I have decided to run "Hoard of the Dragon Queen" as my first campaign. I heard that it's not so good however none of my players have played that. It is definitely easier to DM than to make a campaign from scratch as a beginner. Also the other "good" campaigns some of the players have already played. I wanted to try a campaign in the MTG Theros setting, however my ability to create a large campaign from scratch is a little bit too low for the time I can spare. Also finding appropriate (battle) maps is impossible. I thought people would create more maps with white pillars and Roman/Greek architecture.
