@macpony55 then as I was taking the quarter inch, iron stakes out of the ground required to keep it still, a little four year old that was watching comes up and throws one at the neck of another kid even though I yelled at him to put it down. luckily it him hit sideways or else he probably would have died. then the same kid picked up a hammer and tried to throw it at me but I was able to get it before it left his hand. a little while later a couple police cars came onto our street because there had apparently been a fight when the same kid bit another kid earlier while I had been biking. so we all just went inside after that and now here I am.
