  1. @ceruleanspark Well, unless you subscribe to theories of an expanding and open universe, in which case it's theorized that the rate of expansion causes the maximum limit of entropy to increase faster than that of entropy itself, in which case heat-death may never be achievable. And there's also the "Big Bounce" theory, where a state similar to heat-death exists just before re-explosion, but isn't truly heat-death because gravity is too uniform, and, therefore, entropy is actually kept to a minimum. But, well, we're talking theory, and one could theorize that conditions could arise such that ****storms cease to occur here. Most of those involve the system itself ceasing to exist, though.
