@retl Dangerous? You can eat a little later. The act of eating as soon as you awaken gets your body into a rythm of expecting food at that time. Your body revs your metabolism approximately two hours before it "expects" food. If you're asleep this will disrupt (or end) your sleep. If you eat breakfast a couple of hours later, the metabolic acceleration will align with you waking up, making you feel more refreshed.
