@flaxx I understand the feeling, but it's because there are certain skills for me that are intuitive after practicing for a while, and some that take me a lot of effort to even get close to how I like, same as it was when I first started drawing. It's kinda like a neverending loop of working hard to get better, find another flaw, and then spend another set of months trying to fix that one before you find another one. I don't think the negative qualities of the image alone will make much sense so much by me explaining it so much as looking at it in comparison to the other works I do with the same software tool, MyPaint. Comparing my MyPaint stuff to say my Water Color stuff isn't going to highlight what I'm disregarding with the doodle much, either.
