@flaxx Inkscape? Inkscape is really good for vector work if you can deal with the learning curve. It's also pretty good for matching up with the style of the show, too. I'm not very good at it, but I kinda like it when thinks start to work out. And yeah, if you want to do professional design work, it's a really good idea to at least be familiar with Photoshop in passing, even if you're not a master of it. For me, I just can't really work with it, even thought it was one of the first things I had ever done digital work using. There's also other tools like ArtWeaver, Paint.Net, ArtRage, and similar, buuuut a lot of those are things I outright can't use anymore unless I try to run them through Wine, and that's usually not worth the trouble.
