@mushi I used to be the same way...heck, I still am. But I love how different Wakfu is. The economy and the ecosystem is 100% player controlled, few NPCs, beautiful graphics that won't murder your computer (I can play it on my laptop at full settings with not too bad lag at all), beautiful and diverse character selection, great humor... It's in OB right now and will be going pay to play eventually since Square Enix has control, but I like it enough to shell out the pocket change when the time comes.
