@omni I busy myself at home, when not with friends, playing video games :)
-
@omni I am well, going insane from a lack of madness, nothing to do. Even at work I like to keep busy. *Goes insane and begins laughing odd while twitching violently.* lol
-
@omni Yeah I did lol

@omni In the name of Twilight Sparkle, ye shall not spell in error or the mane 6 shall buck you in twain! ← Sorry, I just had to say this. :D

@omni I don't have a :x.

@omni Never use genkernel. It actually doesn't work at all, I have tried it and it always ends with compile errors.
-
@omni Well first I woke up and I had a slice if toast...

@omni hypocrisy is any form of saying one thing and doing another. This is inderiectly the reason why America has the famous catchphrase, "well there are parts of the bible I like and parts of the bible I don't like." This is meant to be a humourous line and is in no way meant to be serious.
-
@omni Fact: Hypocrite is an opinion, hypocrite.
-
@omni I'm listening to Candlemass - Nightfall, a classic from 1987.
-
@omni Most security vulnerabilities are irrelevant to their use cases. If you only run a couple of server services you very rarely get vulnerabilities that actually affect you.
-
@omni It's BSD. They just get it right the first time.
-
@omni There's no need to update them. They do what they're supposed to.
-
@omni I have some systems that I only update every couple of years.

@omni The $ symbolizes line delimiters. „apply tput co li“ is a command. It executes „tput co; tput li“. The following lines are the output, number of terminal columns and number of terminal lines. „true“ is just a dummy command that returns 0 like „:“.

@omni It's up to chance really as it depends on exactly when the critical system-breaking upgrades happen and how many you miss. One month out of date as a worst case should be perfectly safe though. Three months out of date is getting a bit dicey, and six months out of date is just asking for it to break.
-
@omni I finally mastered the power button.. I think I'm ready.
-
@omni Whereas running FreeBSD, I can take an ancient 4.x installation and update it all the way to the 9.1 Release.
-
@omni What sucks about Gentoo is the upgrade path. If you don't stay up to date, there's a point when you'll have to start from scratch.
-
@omni Indeed, they kind of have different purposes. I don't think this guy has even played with linux, but I get the feeling he's looking for somewhere to jump in. :X

@omni pretty much like this to me
