@folk @nepmango @ricotta @lev2013 banana yourself folk, not even nep can tolerate you. That's a new low.
-
@thatbrickster Also a great way to go about it.
-
@thatbrickster Well, obviously the state doesn't make the jobs. An unemployement fund is just a few months of pension so that the person can spend all their time searching for a job without worrying about feeding their family. It ends after that time is over or the person gets a job, so you can still help them get one and reduce the spending.
-
@josemanuel @hcs @igeljaeger It's that's how you describe it then I guess seeing a cavalry charge is ASMR for me lol
-
@thatbrickster Basically. That's why I believe welfare and charity should be the realm of the Church and of private individuals, not of the state. At most, I'd allow the state an unemployement fund for limited time and on the condition the recipient proves to be actively looking for work.
-
@fence @thatbrickster People should have the option of opting out of both contributing to it and recieving it. Otherwise it's misappropiation of tax money. Forced charity is no charity at all, it's theft.
-
@louisoft01 France invades and no longbow loicense, lol
-
@crushv Then I have no idea what's causing it.
-
@crushv Maybe faulty wifi module?
-
Cat too cute for the internet
-
@crushv Corrupted file it seems. Preview has a grey bar at the bottom and it fails to fully load when opening it on another tab.
-
@cereal Guess it's time to start buying straws to stockpile ivory. Hard to get nowadays.
-
@roko Afraid of getting copped?
-
@dolus Then his dad is a retard. At 13/14 a .22 is safer than a crossbow.
-
@dolus Whoever gave a retard a hunting crossbow is the bigger idiot honestly. You should never gift someone a weapon when they haven't bought their first one yet.
That way you make sure they're /at least/ mature enough to work before getting a weapon. -
@dolus @nepkiwi @kro @chen I doubt he's smart enough to even undestand loading and unloading. Or safety for that matter.
-
It was a good movie honestly
-
- nerthos repeated this.

@lain @wakarimasen It's like the reverse of Two Mules for Sister Sara, poses as a gyaru but is actually very pure.
-
@neppapaya @hiroyuki @hakui @bichosan
Like cherrying clockwork:
>alternative platform pops up (SubscribeStar)
>people who have been kicked out of the established platforms flock to it
>their political opponents start conspiring to get said platform dropped from their payment processors
Gee, it's almost like the political left and these established platforms have some kind of unspoken relationship, or something...- nerthos repeated this.
-
-
@wakarimasen Too pure for it
-
@dolus @hakui @ayy That reminds me of one of my brother's friends who, unable to come up with any ideas for a tabletop RPG character, rolled a clone or Reimu and proceeded to spend the game trying to have hotdogs.

As I think I've mentioned before, modern armor is a passion of mine, and I'm gearing much of my studies towards the development of suits for specific functions. I've decided to design a suit of fully enclosed riot armor with extreme thermal isolation and anti-fire measures. Mostly geared for firefighters but also
Imagine this: rioteer throws molotov at cop
Cop just runs at rioteer
Cop hugs rioteer and rubs against them
Cop then pushes rioteer away and activates built in fire extinguisher
Cop proceeds to laugh, completely unharmed, as rioteer is now covered in burning fuel and desperately trying to put out the flames-
@nerthos Keep in mind the more thermally resistant a suit is, the harder it is for the skin of the person inside to breathe properly.

@josemanuel That's exactly my issue with it. It should be an aggravating factor always. And in the case of sexual offenses, it should be one IF the perpetrator deliberately put the victim under the influence with the intent of committing rape. If the "victim" got drunk or high on their own, then initiated something with someone else, it's not rape no matter how much they regret it when sober, it's stupidity, and no one should be prosecuted. It should serve as a lesson against being stupid, except where the one who got wasted was married and committed adultery, in which case it is a crime of betrayal against the husband or wife and there is a real victim.
Getting drunk, sleeping with someone then regretting it is not rape, it's idiocy. I'm not against prosecuting actual rape, I'm against treating anyone who ended up sleeping with someone else with alcohol or drugs involved as a rapist. -
@hj It's always morning somewhere!
-
@detectivehyde >telling people to do crime
-
@detectivehyde Or a good one.
