@miya @karen @p @lev2013 Proposed natsoc of the 20s was much more socialist in the marxist sense than practical natsoc of the 30s and 40s. That might be part of the difference in positions. That was, after all, why the party ended up fighting the SA (staffed by mostly unemployed and low class, and ripe with commies) and pushing them under the bus in favour of the SS (mostly middle class).

@djsumdog I was mostly talking about the avro arrow thing. Were I one of the engineers I would have hopped on the working prototype and dropped a few fuel tanks on a congress session or something. If your project is to build a jet that outclasses what the air force has, you have the advantage and will probably at least manage to strike, even if they catch you later.
-
@orekix @karolat @p I fall 3 grids up, half right on this. I'd probably fall slightly more right if the questions about social stuff wasn't so about ultra-modern topics. Sucks that the world is so tilted towards minus infinite that if you're anywhere near the actual 0 you're thought of as far right
-
I mean seriously, if you're a company capable of building state of the art fighter jets and the government decides to cherry you into bankrupcy, why -wouldn't- you assemble a few and blow up a few buildings full of top government officials? you're FrankerZed either way, better to at least have revenge.
-
@maiyannah It's never not a good time to accidentally have an hydraulic failure on a bomber's hatch when flying over parlaiment.
-
@p For the big 5 thing, the words they choose for each category is a bit misleading. The descriptions tend to be more on point but you need to read them to get an idea of what they mean by each word. For example they use "agreeableness" more as "willing to go with it to not bother others" than "capable of reaching mutual understanding"
Same with "openness" which is more "artistically minded" than "willing to let others get familiar" in the test. -
@djsumdog @p @fashywhitefem It was a good investment though, Hitler did manage to keep the commies off western europe for good. Even if he ended up losing, he crushed the commies on his lands, and the countries that defeated him made sure to keep them on the east.
-
The RAH-66 is a fascinating case in military trials politics killing a promising project. The Avro Arrow is another.
-
@maiyannah You can't expect to not get screwed if you're developing for a single nation. Companies should develop for a wide market, then states would be forced to deliver if just to avoid ending up outgunned by another power the project would go to in case of cancellation.

@bird Many of them have names based on precolumbine words,
-
@proxeus Hardly. We're relatively the same, but relatively is the key word. Even in a period of time as short as 2000 years ago humans were physically different. The average Roman was about 10cm shorter than the average european of today. And that's just a very obvious example of change, there are many others that are much more subtle.
-
@bigl0af TBH FrankerZ them, no filming people without their consent or a proper justification.
-
@insanityisfree "You underestimate the hood, you think batcaves is stupid"
I don't think it's "underestimating" when this retard can't even use proper english, a language known to be extremely flexible and easy to learn.
Forrest Gump had better grasp of the language. -
Two 9s for the assignments of this cuatrimestre, it went well.

Subnautica up for grabs at the Epic Games store site

Tired since it's a hot day and I spent a few hours building a bipod for my rifle. On the plus side, now I can steadily shoot up to the weapon's effective range!
-
@dog How can the jet fight if it has no arms
-
@wakarimasen You must be in league with the home invading undead
-
@surge The screenshot. I assume is from a game
-
@wakarimasen I'd remember being hit by a truck
-
@wakarimasen They're only roommates if they mentioned coming in!
-
I'm being harassed into insanity by fruit flies in my apartment.
-
@moonman Zyklon B works wonders

@roko Sack shooter

@wakarimasen Kick them out of my property. No entering without permission.

@dokidoki Perhaps when he retires. Right now he's too stressed and I'm too irritable for it to get anywhere other than fighting.
I'm going to start nagging him more about fishing though. -
@dokidoki That actually sounds great. Don't get to do a lot of building with my father because he doesn't have the kind of personality that lends itself to working together (he's been working alongside idiots for too many decades so he instinctively treats people as if they were unskilled workers, which quickly gets me to drop the tools and walk out) so I kinda envy you that
-
@maiyannah @purplehippo Explains why my pirated copy runs smooth as silk lol
-
@ricotta Won't disagree there, but there's flat and there's nonexistant.
-
@dokidoki Been carving a lot when on base downtime?
I had been doing a saber grip on plum wood which is similar but much lighter colour, but I think I'm going to discard it and straighten up the tang because I just don't like how the curved short grip feels. -
Anyway bed for real now
