Check this out; http://www.mylittleponynews.com/2011/09/single-pony-re-releases-with-luggage.html New versions of Dash and Fluttershy. Dash doesn't have a forelock, which if you're not into doing custom hair (id est, rerooting), would make managing her hair a lot easier.

Welp, I'm that kind of broke where it's time to start selling dole I don't want to sell. On the chopping block is Steel Battalion, Namco Arcade Stick for the PSone (which is held in very high regarded in fighting game communities http://sdtekken.com/tech-area/arcade-sticks/namco-arcade-stick-ps1/), and one of my cameras, a Minolta X-700, with a Minolta Rokkor 50mm 1.7 and an Albinar 80-200mm 5.6. If you're interested in any of the above things, holla at a brotha.

Facebook should let people set character alignments on their profile page, this way all the boring people would set their alignment to 'chaotic neutral', and you'd know not to add them.

@critialcloudkicker I find it's best not to apply labels to myself. Given personal biases and complacencies (or personal contempt), one can never have an accurate perception of ones self. We're an amalgam of our own self image and how others perceive us.

The instructors at my martial arts gym spend a lot of one-on-one time with me. I'm not sure if this is because I'm retarded, because I'm there about three hours a day five days a week, or because I'm not bad at Muay Thai and having an instructor to spar and run drills with will help out my game. I think it's all three.

Whoa, I just realized something. Has anyone read Pattern Recognition, by William Gibson? If so, keep reading, if not, ignore me. You know The Footage in Pattern Recognition, how it was mentioned that news outlets occasional did pieces on it, but despite this, it still remained widely ignored by the public, yet still had a sizable following of very devoted fans? Totally the same thing with My Little Pony. It's there, people know about it, but it's a blip on the cultural radar, unless you're in. And if you're in, you're in deep.

@gangstashy I spent a lot of time brushing it, getting all the knots and tangles out, then I wet it using really hot water, put some conditioner in it, rinsed it out, again with really hot water, towel dried it, then I brushed it some more, to get all of the knots and tangles from drying out of it. Then I laid her on her side (aww yea) and brushed her hair out straight, and cut a strip of a paper towel to put around her hair (so as to absorb the water), then put some foil around the paper towel (to keep it rigid). Let it dry, brush again, and POW, straight pony hair. Or as straight as you can get it.

So I have this habit of constructing depressing stories from anything, and while I was managing my Dash's hair today, I thought that somewhere out there is a girl that has Dash, and just Dash. She ran into the pink aisle while she and her negligent mother were at Target, the mother just letting her run wild. The kid wanders down the pink aisle sees Dash, and ends up carrying her around looking at it. Her mother begrudgingly buys it, and she loves Dash. She thinks Dash is awesome and makes up all these adventures for her. She doesn't know about show 'cause her family can't afford cable, so she doesn't know about all of Dash's awesome friends and all the cool stuff she does. She doesn't even know much about other pony toys, she just has Dash. Occasionally she tires to make Dash's hair prettier with her mothers conditioner and hairspray, but always gets yelled at for it, and playing with Dash, and making her hair pretty is her recluse from her tumultuous home life.

@abigpony I don't sell old mics, a lot of people do, but I like to keep mine around. If I get a sound I like with my mics, and I wanna replicate it, I'll know how, so I keep 'em around.

After I read it, I didn't want to read anymore MLP:FiM fanfics. Simply because I thought they'd all be this stupid and nothing more than a waste of time. (Luckly Past Sins changed that) Worse yet, it's tries for a crazy Ed Gien thing (saving parts of ponies) but, at the same time, goes for a Freddy Krueger (trying to crack jokes). This doesn't work.

@engelhardt Heh. I had my English hardened in the Midwest before moving to Arkansas, and I like to think I have pretty close to an all-American accent. I doubt it, though.

@engelhardt I think the trouble is nopony's really sure whether this is more of a chat or a forum, because it kind of acts like both. But in any case, I have a lot of opinions about forums and most of them are along the lines of "don't make new ones".
