@nvrrmbr I think people are drawn to Octavia because her body language, I'm aware she's a pony, but from my perspective, she seems very stoic, and quiet, her reaction to Pinkie seemed subdued, which I take to be indicative of her being a calm pony, who thinks before she acts, as well as before she speaks. She strikes me as a pony who olds herself to high standards. The fact that she also hits me as stoic makes me think that while she does hold herself to high standards, she's reluctant to hold other ponies to those standards, though she can't help but think those around her should be more aware of their mannerisms and appearance. This is all me reading into like eight seconds of screen time, but, y'know.

I have a cold sore on the inside of my upper lip, so when I brushed my teeth tonight, and put mouthwash in my mouth, I thought that maybe tilting my head upside down to get all the mouthwash to settle on the cold sore would be a good idea. I very quickly discovered that this would cause the mouthwash to creep up my nasal cavity, and cause me to have a bad time. It was a very ill conceived idea.

@ponydude2143 @javablast Fair use. If you're not profiting off of it, and it's not being shown in a public venue, it's totally legal. If it's being shown in a public venue that doesn't have 500+ people watching it, no one will care.

I am completely knackered this evening, did two classes at the gym, one went long. I'm that kind of tired where you don't have the energy to do anything other than sit around and wait to fall asleep. It's really uneventful.

Developed a roll of film today, getting it scanned tonight. I don't know what I did, but I've never had a roll of film dry this clean without using any chemicals to enhance the drying process. I think the difference is that I used warmer for the rinse, I developed at 24c and used water that closer to 30 for the final rinse. Either way, I'm stoked to get this reel developed. I see one keeper for sure, and if you can get one keeper per 36 shots, you're doing something right.

I have a towel I use to wipe down my table and developing tanks after I develop some film. It's coated in enough chemicals to be considered a threat to national security, and I've /lost it/. I have no idea where it is. I am never going to trust another one of my white towels ever again.

I'm taking a rudimentary music theory course at a local college. They told me I had to sign up for the 101 class 'cause I haven't taken the prerequisites. I wanted to shout 'mangoes I CAN WRITE FOR FOUR PART HARMONY LIKE IT'S NOTHIN'! I don't need to take the 'every good boy deserves fudge' class!', but I'm only taking it for a tax break, so I was like, whatever. Fine. Here's my money. At least I won't have to show up for classes, can just show up for the quizzes and tests and get 100.
