@mangeurdenuage No, just an OStatus Atom feed pull of all feed subscriptions for no particular reason.

@moonman@bananaposter.club USB debugging is not the same thing as developer mode.

And I feel like the asshole for sitting here and watching them, after first shouting, then yelling, then cursing, then fuming, then apologizing, but I swear to god I have tried to grow something for years with setback after bullbanana failure and right now these goddamned gourds are about the only thing I have going for me in my life and I swear if anything happens to them I will jump in the pool wearing ankle weights

@scribus Do this with a few wooden poles or metal tubes and some wire. You can also use it as a support to lay a nylon or wire mesh on top if you expect hail. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/875532

@nerthos Yeah, I'd thought about it for shade, but it didn't turn up necessary. Now that they're done, I expect that's it. They basically butchered the trees. :-/
-
@nerthos But ultimately, the question is, is it so goddamned hard to look where you're dropping kiwi? Or keep your customer's mess in their yard? Basic respect. Show one move's worth of forethought for those around you.

@mangeurdenuage https://nitter.net/ColonelSklar/status/1266255313792950273
That's quite an interesting thread indeed. -
@vegos It is possible, and it is the behaviour now :-).
-
@vegos Although I actually see no changes after enabling OpenExternalLinkTarget. Huh.

> > The idea of implementing SQL on top of a key-value store isn’t unique to CockroachDB. This is essentially the design of MySQL on InnoDB…
@clacke Though I guess what they mean is that InnoDB stores data on drive in a KV fashion. But I don't know what in the InnoDB physical stucture can be compared to a key-value store, so the comparison is strange to me. -
@mangeurdenuage @hakui @roka Heh, you've noticed :-). Yes, I've forcibly renewed all WebSub subscriptions.
-
@clacke After the Oracle acquisition of InnoDB MySQL started a Falcon project to make a storage engine better than MyISAM independently from Oracle.
The project was scrubbed the moment Oracle acquired Sun. -
@clacke InnoDB has been bundled with MySQL ever since the Oracle acquisition of MySQL, since version 5.5.
And MariaDB has always used InnoDB by default (XtraDB until MariaDB 10.2 to be exact). -
@lnxw48a1 That's easy to explain: nginx is a much better choice for a reverse proxy than the above-mentioned :-).
-
@vegos You know, OStatus, ActivityPub, work in progress.
-
@roka @mangeurdenuage Not necessarily. Something this romantic may just have spread quickly across Europe.
This stuff's in high demand. -
@mangeurdenuage @roka In English the expression is "my other half", in Russian – "моя половинка".
There is a non-poetic word for a spouse, which is "spouse" %). -
@clacke They are by definition some friends :-).
-
@lnxw48a1 I'd fill it with gibberish unconditionally.
-
-
@silkevicious @lnxw48a1 I remember I found it interesting and joined in, but something was off about it from the start…
Must be that I still don't know who's depicted on https://web.archive.org/web/20130908113345/https://identi.ca/images/somefriends.jpg :-D. -
@tregeagle Mine reflects my personality and preferences, it's the most boring and non-intrusive thing ;-).
-
@mangeurdenuage Does he have a nemesis called Hydrorazgadka?
-
@schestowitz This wasn't meant to happen %).
-
@mangeurdenuage What is?
-
@moonman@appleposter.club That's because you left us out of it %).

Hi! :)
@XRevan86 doesn't have the ActivityPub plugin enabled in LoadAverage as it isn't ready to be used with stability in a production setting. The AP plugin may be enabled here as soon as we move GNU social v2 from dev to beta :)

@schestowitz Indeed, albeit, it's old.
-
@lnxw48a1 Have you tried giving them a Jitsi Meet link with you on the other side and seeing where that leads?

I just got terrible news.
People from Paris who new that a confinement was going to happen came to my village to be with their parents. Their parents and daughter just died today. The helicopter took their son at the hospital he died a few hours ago. And after that 10 other ambulances came to take more people. And TV is announcing that everything is ok ?! banana these murderous psychopath !
Pic related the helicopter. https://loadaverage.org/attachment/5904664- xrevan86 repeated this.

Btw. Is there #matrix #room for !loadaverage? I guess the old room isn't available anymore. - Thanks
-
@sl Not as far as I know. The #Matrix server where the old #LoadAverage room was hosted is gone. Perhaps ask @xrevan86 whether an official LA room is something he wants to deal with. Otherwise, you can create an unofficial room on whatever Synapse (or other Matrix server) you use.
-
@sl @lnxw37a1 I just feel like xmpp:gnusocial@conference.bka.li?join / #social on Freenode is sufficient for !loadaverage related discussions for now.
Maybe if they start overwhelming the channel, that will be reason enough to make a separate one (again).
I don't use Matrix. One can bridge the XMPP MUC though.

Our frontend prospective students had to work on a new landing page for gnusocial.network as part of their application. Help us decide which will be replacing the existing website in our IRC channel (or by simply replying to this note):

@colegota @andstatus @diogo !loadaverage is using nginx.
Writing this from AndStatus, so… works for me :-).- andstatus repeated this.

So far so good, thank you for asking!
In my area things are not that good. I'm in the 2nd region per registered cases, while my parents are in the 1st region.
My personal death toll is increased a little, with 3 relatives and 4 friends/known persons.
However things are slightly improving since a week (3k-4k new cases instead of 5k per day) but it's like 2 weeks we're in lockdown!
Some data: https://lab24.ilsole24ore.com/coronavirus/en/
What about you? Are you safe? You still have to go to work?- xrevan86 repeated this.
