!utahbronies today at DI I saw like a dozen little horse toys. No they weren't ponies, "realistic" looking horses with brushable hair. Smeone must've donated their collection. I bought my first pony toy at DI but haven't had much luck since. The dirth of new waves still keeps me checking. #toys

I swear to Celestia, you can't look through the comments section of a video related to an Android, BlackBerry, Web OS etc phone without seeing at least a few "HURM DURR iPHONE IS BETTER" or "iPHONE 5 WILL BEAT DIS CRAPPY PHONE" there's preferring Apple, and then there's being one of the many blind fanboys the company is known for having a lot of. -_- !techponies

@leonkfox The specific issues I have with Android fanboys, are A) They keep telling me I'm stupid. B) They're convinced they're fighting some kind of holy war. It's not a political statement! It's a cellphone!

@ceruleanspark Well, I wasn't condoning that, but by the same token I'm not going to condone an Apple fanboy doing the same thing, even if I do hate Apple as a company. I do like one of their products (the iPod Touch) but sheer principal makes it hard for me to hand over my money for it =/

There are a lot of desktop chassis screws here. Considering that I do not own a desktop, this is a matter of some concern.

@leonkfox I gave my old desktop away to a less well off friend of the family. I still have 2 netbooks, two laptops and an iPad on my desk though.

@leonkfox I've never been a hardcore PC gamer. My Macbook has sufficient power to run any of the more interesting indie PC titles that catch my fancy, but none of the mainstream "Better on PC" titles ever really appeal to me.

@leonkfox Yeah, it was a 40gb one. You can buy little cases for laptop drives that turn them into USB hard disks, so I did that with the old one.

The replacement battery my mother bought for this laptop has the single worst capacity of any laptop battery I have ever seen. !techponies

so last night, my computer screen just went black. it didn't shut down or anything, it just went black. I was pretty tired, so I figured that maybe if I shut my laptop, and open it again, it will be fixed. Well, I shut it and went to bed, figuring I'll deal with it in the morning. but when I got up and opened it, the inside was really hot (also, the fan was going louder than normal all night. it was nice white noise). oh, and the black wasn't fixed. So I shut down the computer, go take a shower, come back, and it was still a bit warm. odd. !techponies

@1337h4x0rakanightf0xetc No guide that i can find. You just post and it's all public. However you can direct your posts to people with "at" signs and to groups like utahbronies with "exclamation". Also you can add topic tags like toys with "pound". Hope that helps. I'm new to the site too and I haven't quite figured it out. #welcometotheherd

!utahbronies No, we don't really talk too much. When a meetup comes up in discussion though, that usually brings up a lot of conversation. If you guys have any ideas for anything, please let me or one of the admins know. A lot of discussion goes on in the Facebook Bronies Group. You might want to look there, but we do talk to each other here. Just not as much.

!utahbronies I noticed that at the last meeting, people only knew the general area of where the meetup was to take place. So I propose that next time, we have a beacon, one that bronies can easily recognize. A bundle of white balloons (for a cloud) with a large paper rainbowbolt (rainbolt?) coming down.
