  4. @quetzalcoatl word. My parents still don't know that i enjoy ponies and if they do they haven't said anything, they are indifferent just so long as i am straight, and even if i wasn't they could probably get over it, as tough as my parents are on me i still know they love me, and in the end would probably accept it in the end. TL;DR accept your children

  10. @quetzalcoatl I play double bass, and for the most part I play pizzicato, hence the name. Even Engelhardt was a nod to playing double bass, they make basses.

  16. @quetzalcoatl That is the next step in the evolution of BroNYCon: Mecha-Tinker. Pays bills, sorts merch, rents venues, and asks Nanashi to do the dirty work, all with the touch of a button!

  22. @quetzalcoatl I'm all about the cash, brony. I'll watch it when I'm over this 'holy crap how the hell am I able to function i need sleep' thing. Hard for me to keep up with you young'uns with this whole lack-of-sleep thing. I think that, save for JoeStrike and Tim Kangaroo-- oh, and Zorin, but only by a nose-- I was the oldest thing in that hall.

  24. @quetzalcoatl Yeah. It's pretty ironic that a show that was once (rightly) stereotyped as candy-coated stereotypically girlie-girl pap (though the toys were still freaking adorable, I have to admit) is now basically a feminist show. A feminist show with a mostly male audience. A feminist show with a mostly male audience that attracts crowds of hundreds in NYC (BroNYCon), Pittsburgh (Anthrocon's pony panel) and Seattle (Rainfurrest's pony panel). My mind boggles. This show probably deserves its own chapter in any text on gender studies.

  26. @quetzalcoatl Too, mine's been modified a bit, now it weighs in at about half a ton without the shield plates... turns out you can get really cheap parts from old decomissioned chinese nuclear powerplants.

  29. @quetzalcoatl Nope, my Cuisinart still works fine, though it did cause a larger drain on the reactor and an increase in coolant temperature.
