@coltonrawrr Don't fret though, not all of us watch it for that plot. I watch it because it is funny and entertaining.
-
@rarity it gives a whole new definition to "plot hole"
-
@renovatedkitchen I am so quoting that
-
@getacutiemark @techdisk42 @commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese @scribus @renovatedkitchen @macpony55 Thanks guys, I needed some possible reasons why people may just simply not like it.
-
Hey guys, last question before I present my project tomorrow. What are some of the reasons people give you for not liking MLP. I understand some people don't like cartoons, but other than that, and people saying it's too girly, what are some reasons you have come across?
-
I really, really, really need to organize my Pony folder. !Save

@toolmanhamm I passed both of my certification tests last Wednesday. I am now CompTIA A+ certified. I did the other speech with out rehearsing and my grade feel a little because of it. The other speech, I am still writing on it. It is due this Thursday. It is the Brony Speech that I have been working on for over two weeks now. It is nearly done, but still needs some finishing touches.
-
@quilzel I hate it when I bump enter, before I have finished my thought :| But I guess we'll see a week from now when I'm uploading it...
-
@alargesmallhorse I know. But I don't want it to be just another brony presentation. But really, the approach I am taking is slightly different. I guess I am just going to throw as much humor at it as possible, and hope for the best.
-
@alargesmallhorse Yeah, popularity has risen, so it is more common. Which is something I had in mind when I started working on my project. Not saying that it is going to stand out, but I am going to try and make it different.
-
I've been trying to prepare myself for this presentation I've got coming up. I still am a little socially anxious about doing it on My Little Pony. I've showed my teacher the first part of my speech, including the topic. She seemed interested in the idea / topic, but ugh. I still have some anxiety about it I guess. :| [/wall-0-text]
-
@toolmanhamm Don't focus on the negative. Even if you have to pull his weight, do your best to pass. Good luck.
-
@toolmanhamm I have to write two speeches by tomrrow afternoon, also need to study for certification tests on Wednesday.
-
@toolmanhamm long, very long. Lost of homework now but http://i.imgur.com/H62Te.jpg

@toolmanhamm I'm always up for a chat

Quick question for my project: What was your first reaction/thought when you first laid eyes on MLP FiM?
-
@toolmanhamm It was... an experience.
-
Woot, had a fun time with @toolmanhamm. had lunch discussed ponies, went to see a movie, was forced into a storm shelter due to an oncoming Tornado, but it missed us by 10 miles. We had to wait in there for 30 minutes. It got hot, here is a photo I took while in there. http://i.imgur.com/hmsCA.jpg

Lived here for a while, moved away, then moved back when I got older, been here going on 4 years.

@toolmanhamm How long have you live in Kansas?
-
@scribus The town I live in got stuck by a tornado a couple of years ago, it took out a tree in the park, a year later, the town 8 miles to the east nearly got wiped off the map. 75% of down damaged or destroyed.
-
@derpyshy Although we currently don't know what causes a tornado to from, we do know how. Basically, the updraft of a thunder storm can sometimes rotate, As air is sucked into the updraft, sometimes the 'suction' is so strong that updraft of the storm, or the current of air moving up, will descend below the cloud line, the lower the this goes it usually 'tightens' up to form a funnel, and if it comes in contact with the ground it then becomes a tornado.
-
@derpyshy Torandoes only form in the 'flat' part of America because of the warm moist air raising from the gulf of mexico and mixing with the cold dry air sinking from the north. Essentially we are just simply caught in the middle. A mountain will not stop a tornado. Kansas is not completely flat, there are quite a lot of hills actually. Also Colorado gets tornadoes all the time and it has a lot of mountains.
-
@derpyshy Tornadoes can form over any terrain, even water, most likely reason for lack of tornadoes is cooler weather. It takes very special weather conditions for tornadoes to form
-
@eaglehooves Allready have a plan in place, with emergancy food and wataer supplies. Plan on taking my kindle and "reading it out". Thank you for the concern.
-
@foxgopher Copy and paste from the national weather service: "CURRENT THINKING IS FOR ISOLATED TORNADIC SUPERCELLS WITH VERY LARGE HAIL TO FORM ALONG THE DRYLINE...AND TO PROCEED NEWD ACROSS THE HIGH RISK AREA LATE AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING. THEN...THE PACIFIC FRONT WILL MOVE IN FROM THE W...LIKELY RESULTING IN A SQUALL LINE CAPABLE OF DAMAGING WINDS WITH EMBEDDED AREAS OF ROTATION CAPABLE OF DAMAGE."

@foxgopher right in the middle of the pink area.... http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day2otlk.html

@foxgopher Worked on it last night making good progress. Today was long. I can't wait for tomrrow, @toolmanhamm and I are gonna meet up. Also a little worried, Supposed to be some very strong storms tomorrow night
