@retl well, when i saw all that pony fuzz i though "ah that is just a show about girls getting boyfriends, there is no way i'm going to watch that". I think i can keep watch as long as they do not change the friendship for romance

@retl I think season 2 looked better overall, but season 1 had the authenticity. it felt more like a little girl's show as opposed to a boys one or whatever we've made it. I used to believe season 1 had better writing, but upon further review, they're both pretty even there. I think the reason S2 looked so much better was purely because budget was increased so much. I believe they're both good and I can't really pick a favorite or anything, but they each have their redeeming factors.

@retl In the end, the seasons were equal and both had their positives and negatives. Thanks for pointing those out, man. I actually never made that connection.

@retl 1) why would you spoil that? 2) looking at "villians" in the modern sense, most have a noble cause behind it at some point. I suppose the way one would define someone like her as a "villian" is the way that she approaches such a cause. She ould be "evil" in the sense that she is the predator to the ponies, the main focuses of the show. The way she is depicted and her cause are what make her a great antagonist, though that's relative to the portrayal towards the "good guys."

@retl Well H&H day was a holiday episode.Now that you point out the thing with the letters and it's effects on the season, I'm really curious as to whether there is something that I missed that may have hinted at the finale or something.

@retl love is an emotion, not an event. I personally took the direct confrontation of "love" from a sort of maturity standpoint. With it being the end of the season, it seems like the ideal time to reflect on the show's growth as well as it's reach and I figured they realized this and took it as an opportunity to show more of an exaggerated emotion for the ever-expanding show.I don't think the amount of references to it in the episodes really make much of any difference at all. That'd be a good point to bring to producers, though.
