Video game emulators allow you to play video games from obsolete consoles, such as the Super Nintendo.
Console emulators replicate other systems and make them compatible with your computer. They are most often used to bring back out-of-print classic games or systems that have been out of the market for decades, but they can also be used to modify or translate games. More recently, classic game enthusiasts could use emulation systems to develop new games for old consoles.
