  1. So FO:E is finally wrapping up for good? Fair enough, it's been running since I joined, it's about time Kkat set it down.

  7. I feel kind of bad that I hijacked the Christmas meetup to be in Birmingham, because loads of people now can't come. I'm going to justify it by saying that they got to go to the one I couldn't.

  8. So, anypony attending the !midlands meetup, if we could set up a meeting time and place, that would be great. I'd hate to make people go to places that would be awkward for them.

  11. I'd do the ROT13 name thing, but I have the same problem @Gungbarcbal had, but without any pun qualities and it would be impossible to remember.

  13. @synkk Then why the literalism.

  14. @synkk Let me introduce you to the wonderful world of metaphor my friend...

  15. @synkk I worry as to what that might be implying...

  16. @synkk I'm just full of them. Or is that beans?

Sunday, 11-Dec-11 19:22:28 UTC from web in context
  17. @synkk Maybe not, but it's the explanation that suits EVERY situation!

  18. @synkk Well you see, when a mare and a stallion love each other veeeery much...

  19. @synkk Aye.

  20. @synkk Here's hoping.

Sunday, 11-Dec-11 00:19:37 UTC from web in context
  21. @synkk No such luck. She's unfortunately one of my best friends, and right now I don't want to deal with having to migrate to a new bunch of friends right in the middle of my GCSEs. I'mma try to improve other friendships, but also keep this going, because fingers crossed I've just been applesy at her for a couple of weeks and I'll come back around in a week or so.

Sunday, 11-Dec-11 00:12:18 UTC from web in context
  22. @synkk Not really, because it wouldn't shut her up, it would just make her arguments all the more self-righteous and insufferable.

Sunday, 11-Dec-11 00:06:28 UTC from web in context
  23. @synkk And the thing is, the moment I say anything, she's going to get all self-righteous with me. I have a way of making her sit down and shut up, but it probably won't work, for exactly the reasons I outlined why it might not work for others.

Sunday, 11-Dec-11 00:03:13 UTC from web in context
  24. @synkk So now Kate is getting frilly with me and I'm just telling her to calm down because I'm just saying don't make too many assumptions. Now they're planning again, and Kate hasn't even read the conversation that has happened when she was right there, so I just want to smack her upside the head.

Saturday, 10-Dec-11 23:58:03 UTC from web in context
  25. @synkk Still the same people, slightly different thread. One of the people who they invited to this Anti-Prom thing who isn't exactly set on it has suggested a party at his place some time in the next few months, and Kate is getting all uppity like "Well none of us drink, so it's not going to be much point having a 'booze up' " So I'm just sitting there, and say "I love how y'all just know me so well I don't even have to say anything and you just get exactly what I'm thinking every time."

  26. @flaxx Yeah. I was trying to use a better word than one beginning with b and ending with what you get in the really hard to reach place on the small of your back.

Saturday, 10-Dec-11 15:19:22 UTC from web
  30. @flaxx Yeah. It's just utterly counter-intuitive too. Prom happens in a big venue, where there will be seating for everyone. You don't have to talk to people you don't like, and if they try to talk to you, you don't even have to see them for another three months so you can tell them to get lost. Plus, if we all go, and actually enjoy each other's company rather than the lies and false faces everyone else puts on, then that will be a bigger screw you to them than not turning up ever would be.
