@cabal I know about GeoHot. But if I boycott everyone who does business with Sony, or Best Buy, or Microsoft or IBM or the country of Germany or any other organisation that has ever done anything evil, I'd be left unable to conduct business with ANYONE AT ALL. There is no such thing as an organisation with clean hooves, and there is no such thing as a person who has never done business with an organisation with unclean hooves.

@starlightbolt I'd only withdraw the invitation if I thought it was what a majority (or even a significant minority!) of con attendees wanted. So far, the only complainer was Cabal. Cabal has complained of anticipated Anonymous invasions of our events before. He's ... a little paranoid. Mind you, I like Cabal a lot, and I have the deepest respect for what he's done for the community, but he is definitely paranoid.

@flaxx Yeah, I read cupcakes and there were many alternate endings and sequels and when I start reading a story I can't seem to stop. The one that I am currently reading isn't grimdark but it is still pretty sad.

@lucius I remember reading Cupcakes. Never again. And a while after that I read Rocket to Insanity, which made me all sad and stuff, but then I found an alternate ending that made everything well again. Honestly I don't read a lot of fanfiction, mostly due to lack of time. :/

@flaxx Yea, cupcakes was really bad for me, couldn't think straight for a few days. Then I started reading an ending that lead to a sequel that lead to about 5 more sequels. So now I feel compelled.

@nvrrmbr No. I have a rather inscrutable vaguely North American accent, with British, Israeli, and New York influences which occasionally rear their heads at odd intervals.

@cabal i had hackintoshes for a while, but eventually i got tired of how cheap PC build quality is and wanted a real mac

@cabal perhaps, but it ran nicely when it was brand new. I run it an extremely light system with minimal apps, most of my work is web based so there's no reason for it to run so poorly, except for it being windows of course, hehe.

@mrn4rmn4rm I apologise for being short with @starshine this morning. I admit I was in a terrible mood. Part of this had to do with a lousy experience with Target not honouring a coupon for like $150 of poni. Anyways, no excuse.

@rotation I can't say I'm sad to see him go. He's been a thorn in my side ever since I took over from @cabal. First, he criticised me for advertising BroNYCon on the site (which I pay for!). Then he gave me a bunch of sour grapes because his brony meetups in Ohio are not as successful as mine in NYC. Most recently, he got on my case for not subscribing to an annoying user who kept asking me to subscribe to them and I kept saying 'no'. Plus, adding irony to insult, he criticised me for (accidentally) breaking the PG-13 rule (which I did not establish, which I do not like, and which is GOING to be rescinded as soon as we get an optional-for-18+ censorship system in place)..... and HE'S the one who said he'd code the censoring plugin that would make the entire swearing issue moot. Derp.
