  6. Dear Princess Celestia. Today I learned that if you cut your pizza into twice as many slices as usual and fold them over into a sandwich, you can eat twice as fast AND not burn the top of your mouth on the molten cheese. Anyway, I was actually writing to you about my daily letters. I know you're busy running the country and do not have chance to answer every one, so I was pleased with the response I received yesterday. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a restraining order! Surely this is a mistake as I would never do anything to hurt you. I assure you that the last time I saw you in person I was only trying to get a cutting of your hair, which smells so divine that I've stuffed a pillow with it. Anyway, I've attached a photo of myself so you can see that I am not any kind of creepy stalker, and I assure you that all other parties in said photo were of age. I look forward to hearing your hasty response. Your faithful student, Jack the Last Gherkin.

  13. It has come to my attention that there are a few of you that are logging in to RBDN and roleplaying 24 hours straight. While this isn't something too bad, it can affect the health of an individual if prolonged, in a tri-pronged attack on the social, physical and mental wellbeing. This is especially problematic if you are not an adult, but even as an adult you can still suffer from the effects. While I can't tell you what to do, I can ask you to please, go to bed at midnight, and sleep for at least 5 hours. Take an hour a day, and walk/bike around outside in the afternoon. And finally, MAKE SOME FRIENDS! Yours truly, Administrator.

  14. This was my fault. A couple of weeks ago # made a friend of mines mistype PinkiePie into one of his college papers. His professor didn't know what it was at first. "I googled it and just found lots of pictures of cartoon horses." Then a few days later... he hears the professor humming the MLP FiM intro to himself.

  15. SO ONE DAY BIGPONYMAC WALKED INTO THE ROOM, AND HE WAS LIKE "HELLO MOON I HAVE RETURNED WITH MY BIG MUSCLE CHEST AND MY SHIRT UNDONE?" AND THEN MOON SAID "OOOOOOH MAC~" AND THEN BIGPONYMAC GRABBED HER AND SAID "LET'S DO IT," AND THEN WHISPERED INTO HER EAR, "AND I WILL LEAVE MY GUITAR ON." MEANWHILE, THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY, PEOPLE WERE FAINTING AND TURNING GAY. it was awesome. THE END

  17. @rotation I have a running gag against physicists. It involves flailing of the arms and saying "oooh, look at me, I'm a physicist" in a falsetto voice. I never said it was a good running gag.

  18. OK GUYS. Here is the toy designing process, so repeat this notice next time someone asks. First, concept art is drawn of how awesome a toy could look. Then, control art is drawn, which is an accurate line model of the design. Then sculports make a mock-up out of clay or wax. These are then used to make molds, which are used first to make hardcopies and test shots that are used to check the mold is sound and looks like they want it to. These test shots are then rigorously safety-tested. When everything turns out hunky-dory, pre-production samples are made. These are the ones you usually see at conventions and in official photography, meaning there is still some chance that the toy will change before retail. This whole process takes several months, after which there is an undeterminable amount of time before the product hits stores, depending on which retailers will stock it and when is the most financially-viable time to release it.

  22. Best day ever. Went to school for my final day, then during the first 10min. I walk in the door one of my good friends gave me a card and a package. I open the card and it is a large fold out MLP card. Then I open the box and inside was a MLP RainbowDash. It is one of the newer ones that come with the animal and cart. They told me it was a belated Birthday and Christmas gift. I then proceded to have the best day.

  29. So a few days ago I posted that I set my ringtone to Pinkie's singing telegram in the hopes that someone would call me at work. Well turns out that happened... when I was in a meeting, then suddenly: THIS IS YOUR SINGING TELEGRAM I HOPE IT FINDS YOU WELL! After turning it off everyone was just silent, the Manging Director just said "I don't know what that just was, but it was hilarious". I also told my boss i'd finished the "Winter wrap up" instead of the weekly wrap up. #
