@starshine Every place is different and every situation is different. Depending on what's going on or the circumstances surrounding your plans, there may be a need to rent out space. I could have simply announced a place and set up shop, but I took into account the possibility of rain ruining our fun so I went the extra mile and rented a covered pavilion with grills.

@starshine I've read a couple. I know there are a number of different options. I guess I should just try to get word out that I'm considering one, and see how many people are interested before trying to pick a place.

@starshine MLPArena and MLPTP are feeling alienated by the new breed of fans calling themselves 'bronies', like you're special if you're a 'brony', whereas if you've been into it for a decade like the cats at MLPTP and MLPArena, you're not special 'cause you're not a 'brony'. I'm sure most of them are inviting toward new members, but they don't like having their significance in the community minimalized 'cause they're not 'bronies'. So, I get where they're coming from.

@starshine They dont hate G4's there, well ok most of the people dont..but there are some older members who do.

@starshine I usually go for the more basic ones, like http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/06/pony-wallpapers-all-way-across-sky.html or http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/04/lots-of-wallpapers.html , I get distracted by that many stripes. But I can handle it long enough to annoy her. She deserves it.

@starshine I didn't pay attention to the details, but it was when a few of the mods all just quit some sort of arguement idk what it was all about really. I never pay attention to anything like that, I had enough of it when I was a furry.

@starshine @starshine That's pretty lame. I'd like to see where in the rulebooks they got that from... Unless it's that gotcha rule where students pretty much aren't allowed to bring anything "unauthorized" to class. Which I still think is kinda stupid, but I'm still not entirely convinced that's written in any actual rulebook.
