    We have a bona fide life saver in the family. Bobby's BCP went up after the transfusion, and is up further this morning, suggesting internal bleeding has stopped. Yay for blood donor Jacky! #

    It's what's called a "blind" transfusion, done when there's no time for blood typing and finding a matching donor. Risky, but a cat from the same litter is as good a chance of a match as you'll get. #
